IC3D is a 3D printing company in Columbus, Ohio. Since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, IC3D has pivoted production to make thousands of face shields for the State of Ohio’s Department of Public Health, and shipped hundreds more for those on the front lines across the country. IC3D has increased staff to include furloughed workers in various industries around Columbus such as restaurants, cleaning services, and transportation, to address increasing unemployment rates and facilitate PPE production.
IC3D face shields are durable and reusable. They can be cleaned using any of the CDC recommended chemical disinfectants. An anti-fog spray like Windex, or Rain-X, is recommended to keep the shield clear after disinfecting.
